2020 SoupART Bowls 12

If you are interested in volunteering for the 2020 SoupART Bowls 12, please contact the Norfolk Arts Centre soon!  Preparations are already underway.  519-428-0540

TICKETS GO ON SALE FEBRUARY 15TH and will be available at the Norfolk Arts Centre (21 Lynnwood Avenue, Simcoe) and online through Eventbrite.

On Thursday, March 26th the Norfolk Arts Centre will hold its popular SoupART Bowls event. Now in its 12th year, SoupART Bowls is a tasty event that brings together and highlights the creativity of the visual and culinary arts in Norfolk County in support of programming at the NAC. Central to the success of the event are its community partners: the Norfolk Potters’ Guild and Studio whose members donate over 200 handcrafted ceramic bowls and the celebrated Norfolk County restaurants that contribute their original soup recipes.

Patrons are able to select an original ceramic bowl made by a member of the Norfolk Potters’ Guild, receive a SoupART Bowls souvenir cookbook featuring recipes from the participating establishments and spend a leisurely evening wandering through the galleries enjoying soups from some of Norfolk County’s finest restaurants. When you purchase your ticket you will be automatically entered in a draw for one of the fabulous door prizes created by members of the Norfolk Potters’ Guild.

While satisfying their appetite, patrons can have fun casting their vote for “favourite soup” and “friendliest soup station,” viewing the current exhibitions “Off Course: Norfolk Secondary Student Visual Art Exhibition”, “Loretta Dunnville: Kronnick Payne”, and “Patricia Deadman: Cuento de Dos Jardins”, all the while mingling with friends and family. There is also the opportunity to pick up something wonderful at our silent auction table or browse the NAC Giftshop.

SoupART runs in two services: Service 1 from 4:30 – 6:00 pm; Service 2 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Tickets are $35  Tickets are reserved with payment.
