In recognition of Canada 150, the Long Point Region Conservation Authority, Anne Barber and Brad Harley of Shadowland Theatre and Ian Bell announce:

NORfolktales of Land and Lake
Backus Heritage Conservation Area, August 17 - 20, 2017


This community, outdoor theatre production will focus on tales and lore of Norfolk County. Keen to get involved? Here’s how:
• Join a workshop at one of the Norfolk County Heritage and Culture sites
• Perform in the production or volunteer backstage

Workshop 3: Norfolk Arts Centre

• Learn to stilt-walk, play music, take on a theatrical role - be in the production!
• Create puppets, props, and costumes
• Discover the history and legends of Norfolk County from local experts, and learn from Indigenous artists and knowledge-keepers

Artists/Instructors: Anne Barber, Brad Harley, Ian Bell, Sally Gable and more

Participants: Fun for the whole family - ages 10 years and up welcome! Join one or all workshops (bring lunch and snacks).
